For the Kids Though the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival involves a lot of walking and taking the time to stop and smell the flowers, you shouldn't be discouraged from bringing the kids along! There are plenty of activities available for younger visitors to participate in, including the Tulip Run where kids 14 and under run for free. There is usually a day during the festival where La Conner's children's museum offers free admission too.
